Beholding Skywall

When my Shadow Priest, Celna, entered Skywall for the first time I was blown away by the visual Blizzard had crafted. The dungeon, called the Vortex Pinnacle, is easily the most unique location the game has ever presented players with. I have not done it justice here by any measure. It is an amazing thing, and I was so overwhelmed that I had to draw it! I knew it would be a complex and time consuming affair, however, so I decided to focus more on Celna's awe at witnessing the place.

The "background" of Skywall took nearly 4 times as long to complete than Celna did.

Skywall is the elemental prison plane of air, and the air elementals were not content to simply float about with nothing to show for it. They pilfered stone from Deepholm and set about building their sky palaces at the order of their lord, Al'Akir.

Damned shame Al'Akir went and allied with Deathwing. Why do the bad guys have all the cool stuff?
